Who are we?

Clarity Consulting Associates Ltd is a UK-based health and care consultancy working in partnership with health and care organisations, local government, private and charitable sector organisations. We use a Population Health Management approach to deliver change for patients, and value for money for payers.

We currently collect and process the following information:

  • Information on members of the public such as contact information available in the public domain for experts in health and care, journalists, and other stakeholders in our wider environment, and contact details of members of the public who sign up to our newsletters or other publications, events, and networks.

We collect your information to improve the way we communicate with you and how you interact with our website. We may use your personal information to:

Like most websites we use ‘cookies’- cookies help the website remember information about your visit. This makes it easier to visit our website again and improves the way you use it. How do we store your personal data?

All data that we are in possession of is kept in encrypted storage with access controls in the UK. Our cloud storage is operated by Microsoft from servers based in the UK.

Our website (www.ccal.co.uk) is hosted by WebFlow on servers across the United States, EU, and Israel, which is considered by the European Commission to be offering an adequate level of protection for the personal information of EU Member State residents. The website provider has its own UK GDPR Policy and rules and as such is subject to the same controls as Clarity.

How long do we store your data?

The length of time we store your data depends on what that data is related to. Any data relating to:

  • Recruitment information – 6 years post-employment, 1 year for any unsuccessful applicants.
  • Payroll information – 6 years post-employment with the exception of pension information which is 75 years post-employment.
  • Contractual information – 6 years post-employment.
  • Information gathered by our website (www.ccal.co.uk) when clients opt-in to mailing lists and direct marketing. This information is retained until twelve months beyond the end of the customer relationship.
  • Any information gathered by the cookies embedded on our website varies between the time spent on our website up to 2 years. Please see our Website Privacy Policy for more details.
  • Intellectual property developed during client engagements is retained and products are returned to the client at the end of any given customer relationship. Copies of products and drafts are retained in secure storage by Clarity for a minimum of 12 months beyond the end of the customer relationship unless otherwise agreed with the client.

When personal data is deleted, it is done in a manner that ensures the data is irrecoverable.

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law Clarity would like to make sure you are fully aware of all your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

  • The right to be informed- You have the right to be informed about the collection and use of your personal data.
  • The right of access- You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
  • The right to rectification- You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
  • The right to erasure- You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
  • The right to restrict processing- You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
  • The right to data portability- You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you in certain circumstances.
  • The right to object to processing- You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
  • The right not to be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. Clarity will respond to your request within one month of receiving the request. You can contact us using the details in the contact us section.
